Doves, by Dr. Henry Hull

Sprinkle 4 doves with salt & pepper; roll in flour.  Brown in pan with 1/4 cup of oil. 

Add:

4   medium onions, sliced
1  8 oz. can Tomato sauce
1/2  cup beer
3 TBLS parsley

Simmer slowly for about 1 hour.

Note:  I have adjusted this recipe throughout the years to less onion with more doves & beer.  Enjoy!
