Empty Freezer Syndrome
If your freezer isn’t full after the deer season and you still have the
desire for wild game meat, here is an idea. The 777 Ranch has an abundance
of cow Nilgi antelope, cow Bison and cow Elk hunts that they are offering at
a very good price. All these animals are big and will yield lots of meat.
The cost for these hunts is only $750. This price does not include meals or
lodging but it does include the hard work of field dressing, skinning and
quartering your animal.
The reason these hunts are being conducted at such a ridiculously low price
is simple. They have too many of these species on the ranch and need to
reduce the numbers. By lowering the numbers of females at this time of year,
they will have not only fewer animals, but also the range conditions and
habitat will be better for other animals.
An elk cow yields at least six times the meat of a typical whitetail doe and
the bison cow approximately 10 – 12 times the meat. So you’d better have
lots of room in your freezer. There are only a limited number of these hunts
available.
The 777 Ranch is located about one hour west of San Antonio off of Highway
90. The 15,000 acres is home to 50 different species of animals from around
the world. Many of these species are now extinct in their native land
primarily due to habitat destruction. Much of the land surrounding the 777
Ranch has been turned into agriculture and the native habitat has been
destroyed. But these 15,000 acres of the 777 Ranch have been dedicated to
wildlife and their habitat for nearly 40 years. It is this type of
dedication that provides a brighter future for game animals and the hunters
who hunt them. Without limited hunting of these animals, there would be no
future for them, as their value would diminish to a point where neither
hunters or landowners would want them. When they aren’t wanted, they will
eventually disappear. Like most animals, elk, buffalo and nilgi can multiply
quickly and if their numbers are not kept down, they will soon over
populate.
By the way, all 3 of these animals in this package are some of the best game
meat you will ever taste. For more information, contact the 777 Ranch at
